Document Description
The scope of this project is to raise the profile of the road, which has dropped down and outward on the embankment side, back to its original state by placing an asphalt concrete (AC) leveling coarse. This portion of Route 49 is a conventional two-way rural highway located in the Auburn State Recreation Area just south of the City of Auburn and runs adjacent to the Middle Fork of the American River. All work will occur within Caltrans right of way.
