Document Description
Consideration of a determination of substantial conformance of a replacement sign for a preexisting nonconforming sign at the Murphys Hotel. The applicant has proposed to replace an existing wooden sign, currently supported upon a tree that is dying and becoming unsafe. Proposed is the installation of a steel post support and a replacement sign of approximately the same size. The current sign is a nonconforming use, as the sign is located in County right-of-way. Requested is a determination that the sign is in substantial conformance with the current sign and does not represent an expansion of a pre-existing nonconforming use.
