Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace a damaged culvert at the location mentioned above. The culvert damage appears to have orginated during flooding that occurred in January 2008; during a culvert inspection on January 14, 2008 it was discovered that the culvert had collapsed under all three southbound travel lanes of State Route 99. Replacement os the damaged culvert section would be done as a state-only funded emergency project under a Caltrans Director's Order approved on August 16, 2008.
