Document Description
The modification to SDO WTP will be the addition of plastic floating Bird Balls to the flocculation and sedimentation basins, switching to chloramines as a primary and secondary disinfectant, and the addition of baffle curtains to the existing reservoirs. These modifications will help the City in continuing to provide high quality water as well as staying in compliance with the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule.
