Document Description
This project consists of the constructing a composting pad and a concrete solids separator pit to improve manure management and distribution, and to reduce the amount of wastewater generated on a dairy. A solids separator and composting facility will greatly enhance nutrient management and the transfer and distribution of manure to farm fields.
These are pasture management dairy enhancement projects.
The projects involve the installation of water pipeline and purchase of water troughs to facilitate rotational grazing, improve pasture management practices and to reduce pressures from overgrazing in critical areas.
