Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed
Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-DEL-56347-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project
Applicant is the California Department of Transportation. In accordance with the Notification and supporting
documents, the purpose of the project is to construct roadway improvements to allow the reclassification of the SR
197-U.S. 199 corridor as part of the industry standard Surface Transportation Assistance Act (STAA) network of
truck routes. These improvements include widening lanes and modifying curve geometry at identified locations to
accommodate standard STAA-sized vehicles while maintaining and improving safety for the traveling public. Five of
the seven project locations require drainage and bridge work, and these locations were included as Notification
projects.
