Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2011-0174-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Placer County Department of Facility Services.
The project is limited to construction of a pumping station and placement of a force-main sewer pipeline to connect the former Applegate Waste Water Treatment Plant to the SMD1 waste water collection system in North Auburn. The project will require 19 hand dug trenches under existing drainage culverts for placement of sewer pipe, and fill of a portion of an intermittent drainage and associated wetlands with temporary impacts to the associated riparian area (temporary impacts to approx 0.066 of willows with permanent impacts to approx. 0.011 acres of willows) for construction of the staging area at the site of the initial pump station on Applegate Road near Interstate Highway 80.
