The Lanhontan Water Board and the TRPA adopted a MOU regarding regulation of vegetation managment activities. MOU designates the TRPA as the lead permitting agency for vegetation management activities in the Lake Tahoe Region. The Water Board also adopted an accompanying waiver of waste discharge requirements for such projects that are regulated by the TRPA under the terms of the MOU.
