Document Description
The project is the Department of Toxic Substances Control's approval of the Draft Mining Derived Sediment Removal Work Plan (Removal Action Work plan [RAW]), dated August 2012, for the Magenta Drain Channel, and historically referred to as Woodpecker Ravine, located in the Empire Mine State Historic Park (EMSHP) pursuant to Chapter 6.8 of the Health and Safety Code. The objective of a draft RAW is to evaluate environmental cleanup alternatives and to identify a preferred cleanup alternative to prevent or reduce potential exposure of future site occupants to contaminants.
