- The approved project consists of only the installation of the passive water treatment facility to treat groundwater discharge from the existing mine adits to the Magenta Drain. Work at the magenta Drain is one of the remediation areas identified on the Empire Mine State Historic Park property that contained mining or milling related sources of constituents of concern, which are released to nearby water bodies.
