Document Description
The project is limited to the grading and recontouring of the remnant mining tailings and the construction of a new high flow, impermeable HDPE lined channel. The channel would be approximately 1208 linear feet in length and 17 feet in width (0.45 acres), with an approximately
44-foot elevation difference between the inlet culvert at 2756.6 feet to the outlet culvert at 2531.8 feet elevation. The new channel will create a barrier between the contaminated tailings and the soil cover material, to prevent mobilization of contaminants and improve surface flow water quality in the Project Area and further downstream.
