The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) plans to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to make minor changes to the landscaping component for the Estates Reservoir Replacement Project Final EIR certified on January 26, 2010. The ongoing Estates Reservoir Replacement project construction commenced in 2012 and involves the demolition of the existing reservoir structure and appurtenances and the installation of two 3.3 million gallon buried concrete tanks, landscaping, and associated appurtenances.
