Document Description
The project involves the construction of a well head arsenic treatment system to treat the existing Garzoli water well for arsenic removal. The project includes construction of concrete foundations, installation two FRP buildings for storage of sodium hypochlorite, ferric chloride, and sulfuric acid (separate), installation of six 10-ft diameter filter vessels, installation of a 96,000 gallon backwash storage tank and one 10 HP centrifugal booster pump for reclaimed supernatant water, installation of a 65,000 gallon backwash water supply storage tank and one 40 HP centrifugal booster pump for backwash water supply, modifications to the existing well discharge piping and installation of new piping, modifications to the existing site electrical and installation of new electrical and controls, and installation of 1,100 LF of 12" sewer PVC to convey backwash to sewer.
