The project evaluated in the MND consists of 5 main components: (1) construction and ongoing operation of a new Cajalco Fire Station, which will replace the existing Cajalco Fire Station located at 17650 Cajalco Road, by the Riverside County Fire Department and a new 1,200 sf Meeting Room; (2) construction and operation of an ~19,000 sf operations building and an ~12,600 sf shop building at Western Municipal Water District's (WMWD's) Operations Center at 16451 El Sobrante Road in unincorporated Riverside County; (3) construction of a WWTP of lift station and the El Sobrante Force Main; (4) removal of a subsurface septic system; and (5) installation of a traffic signal on El Sobrante Road at the entrance to WMWD's Operations Center.
