Document Description
With the oversight of the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board, the Gillette Company is assessing and remediating soil and shallow groundwater contaminated with volatile organic compound (VOCs) at the former Papermate facility. The Gillette Company proposes to apply In Situ Thermal Treatment to remediate VOC contamination in vadose zone soil and shallow groundwater. This remediation technology has been very effective at sites with similar contamination, and soil and groundwater conditions.
