The proposed project includes an update of the Laton Community Plan, which is a component of the Fresno County General Plan. The proposed community plan would increase the planning area to about 583 total acres, an increase of 111 acres. Table ES-1 shows the existing and proposed land use (by acreage) within the community of Laton. A detailed description of the community plan update follows.
