Document Description
The San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District (SGVMWD) is proposing to construct a new 5.5-cfs service connection at station 2858+91, on The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) Upper Feeder, located in the City of Sierra Madre and bordering the City of Alameda. SGVMWD will design and construct the service connection from the tie-in to the delivery point and Metropolitan will perform design review and construction inspection of the service connection from the tie-in to the first flange past the meter structure. The new service connection will tie into the existing 12-inch diameter outlet diameter piping which is and will continue to be used as a blow-off structure. In order to continue with the blow-off capabilities, a valve will be installed within the existing blow-off piping.
