Document Description
The project involves construction of a single-family residence and a separate, subterranean garage structure, on a half-acre lot. Fuel modification will include a 20-foot wide "irrigated zone" around the residence that will be planted with both native and non-invasive ornamental plant species. In addition, heavy growth of woody vegetation on the property within 50 feet of the structure will be thinned to reduce the potential fuel load. The grading, construction, and fuel modification activities will result in the loss of big-leaved crownbeard (Verbesina dissita), a state threatened plant species, necessitating issuance of an Incidental Take Permit.
