Document Description
The proposed project includes replacement of an existing wooden retaining wall, approximately 6' from a residential structure. The applicant proposes replacing the failing retaining wall with a new "soldier pile" wall with reinforced concrete panels cast between I-beams with an exposed height less than 5'. Gravel will be placed behind the retaining wall with compacted native fill in order to facilitate site drainage. A temporary debris and silt fence will be erected to prevent sediment and debris from entering San Anselmo Creek. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2008-0312-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
