Document Description
Project consists of relocating existing Camp Host site utilities, as well as retrofitting an existing campsite and associated equipment to meet accessibility requirements as stated in the "California State Parks Accessibility Guidelines."
-Relocate Camp Host Site: Convert existing campsite #12 to a Camp Host site providing electrical and water supply by digging a trench, 18" wide by 30" deep by 120' long from Campsite # 12 (new Camp Host Site) to the Lower Restroom Septic System. Install a 4" sewer pipe in trench and connect Campsite #12 to the park Septic System for Camp Host use and backfill trench. Dig a second trench, 18" wide by 30" deep by 40' long and install a 2" electrical conduit between Campsite # 12 and existing electrical pull box located between restroom and bridge to provide a 50 amp electrical pedestal for Camp Host use; backfill trench. To provide water to Camp Host Site, modify existing water riser adjacent to Campsite # 12 by installing a hose bib. At abandoned former Camp Host Site #3, leave utilities in place by capping and abandoning in place.
-Establish ADA Accessible Campsite and Parking Space: Level a 25' by 25' area at Campsite #6 (new ADA site) by removing up to 6" of earth from the high side and depositing it on the low side of the site, and resurface the site with imported decomposed granite of 1/4" aggregate. Install new ADA accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Install an ADA parking space adjacent to the Lower Restroom; relocate trash receptacles 20 feet to the East and level a 16' by 20' area by removing up to 1' of road base on the high eastern edge of the site and redepositing it on the low western edge of the site.
