Document Description
The Project consists of constructing and operating a 5,000-gallon per minute manganese removal facility on the existing Well 17 and 18 site. The site is entirely disturbed, containing no natural habitats, and is located in a development area. Said facility will utilize oxidation and filtration processes to remove manganese from water produced by Wells 17 and 18 and is designed with adequate capacity to treat 100% of said water. The facility will reduce levels of manganese in water produced by Wells 17 and 18 to ensure that the Rubidoux Community Services District can continue to provide its customers with a safe and reliable water supply in compliance with all state and local water quality standards. The beneficiaries of this Project are the Rubidoux Community Services District and its customers.
