Document Description
Willow Slough Bypass, which is part of Sacramento Area Flood Control project, provides flood protection for the City of Davis and its surrounding areas. DWR is responsible for maintaining the Willow Slough Bypass and its levees to ensure that the design flow capacities are maintained and the integrity of the levees are not compromised. Repair the levee slip by excavating and reshaping the area to the original levee slope design (restore a 4V to 5H slope), and then placing approximately 875 cubic yards of a rip rap soil mix into the levee slip area. DWR proposes to use soil/sediment that was historically removed from the Willow Slough Bypass channel for the soil that will be mixed with the placed on top of the rip rap rock.
