Document Description
Restoration of habitat along the floodplain of Coon Creek. Waterfowl habitat in the form of a pond will be created within the upland terrace of the secondary seasonal outflow of Coon Creek. A 2.6 acre wetland complex in the low lying surrounding fields will be constructed. Approximately 1,800 feet of new levee road will also be constructed to create new flood plain. Additionally five overflow weirs will be constructed to encourage northward flow of floodwaters into the newly created wetlands.
