The Lake Almanor Boat Launch Reconstruction Projects: At Almanor launch ramp, activities include the demolition of existing boarding floats, construction of a two-lane V-groove, reinforced cast-in place concrete boat launching ramp, approximately 150 feet in length and a pre-cast (push slab) section 48 feet in length. The ramp includes a cable-anchored, adjustable courtesy boarding float. Canyon Dam launch ramp activities include the demolition of the existing courtesy boarding float. Construction of an at-grade 144-foot long by 7'4" wide and cable guided float anchorage system. Construction of a 240-foot long floating wave attenuator with anchorage and a 40-foot long concrete wave barrier. Add a 2-foot by 2-foot V-groove footing to the west edge of the existing ramp footings. Place approximately 20 tons of class 3 rock slope protection.
