Document Description
Construction of a new multi-use residential pier with two boat lifts. The pier will be supported by 10 individual cylindrical steel pilings driven into the substrate of the shore and lake bottom by means of an amphibious vehicle. Ten additional pilings will be driven into the substrate to support the pier head. The pier will have steel cross beams attached to the pilings. The cross beams will be covered with a decking of Trex or a similar material. The twin boat lifts will be located on opposite sides of the pierhead and will be individually supported by single pilings driven into the lake bottom. In addition to the construction of a new pier, the existing pier will be removed by amphibious vehicle. The existing steel pilings will be removed from the substrate and the bottom substrate restored to resemble surrounding benthic strata.
