Document Description
Rehabilitate the Oily Wash bridge by installing a non-yielding concrete barrier railing on both sides and widening the bridge to current highway design standards, including shoulders. Widening the bridge requires widening the reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert. This will entail removal of portions of the existing parapet walls located on both the southbound and northbound bridge points. RCB culvert extension footings will be dug out, and new concrete will be poured into frames at all four corners of the bridge. The existing culvert apron will be removed and a new concrete apron will be extended passed the cutoff wall that has been removed.
