The Project consists of the installation of GPS data-collection equipment and small solar panels, with battery backup units, at La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve. The purpose of this project is to allow UNAVCO, Inc. to install a GPS monument to contribute to it network of monitoring equipment to facilitate geoscience research.

The proposed project would result in installation of equipment that will be used solely for data collection in support of research and will not result in a serious or major disturbance to any environmental resources.
