Document Description
Implement drainage improvements on trails and stream crossings to reduce sedimentation to the aquatic environment using Best Management Practices. Construct new, well-drained 4'-wide trail with balanced cut and fill to replace former sleep fall line trail and diseed alignment. Restore approximately one half mile of old trail alignment to native topography. Upgrade and reinforce approach path and construct pedestrian bridge at site of existing ford crossing. Remove eroded concrete apron at stream crossing and reinforce outlet with 10 cy of 18 in diameter rock. Replace and upgrade culverts and upgrade trail drainage structures.

Sect. 15333 exempts small habitat restoration projects to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of habitat for fish, plants, or wildlife; this project is designed to reduce sedimentation, enhancing and protecting critical habitat of steelhead trout.
