Document Description
Under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, the Natural Resource Trustees prepared the DARP/EA to assess injuries and evaluate restoration alternatives for natural resources injured by the Kure Oil Spill. The DARP/EA describes multiple restoration activities to benefit natural resources and compensate for loss of recreational services including bird projects (including federally endangered species), shoreline habitat projects, wetland habitat projects, and recreational use projects. The Natural Resource Trustee selected six preferred restoration alternatives for funding.
