Document Description
The applicant proposes to repair a damaged bridge on Alpine Road at Mindego Creek, near La Honda, in unincorporated San Mateo County. The County proposes to repair the bridge by removing approximately 25 cubic yards of soil to redirect the flow back to the center of the creek (away from the left bank), extend the left wingwall for a distance of approximately 15 feet upstream to protect the bank, cement slurry filling of void beneath existing wingwall and abutment, installation of a short section of a 12 inch diameter plastic pipe to direct roadway runoff away from the soil behind the wingwalls, patching of scoured concrete surfaces of the abutment footings and wingwalls and underside of the superstructure, and replacement of damaged barrier posts and rails.
