Document Description
The North Bay Reuse Authority is proposing the North Bay Water Recycling Program (formerly known as North San Pablo Restoration and Reuse Project) to increase regional use of recycled water in the North San Pablo Bay region. The Phase I Implementation Plan will provide 3,757 acre ft of recycled water annually via implementation of 6.4 mgd capacity upgrades at the participating wastewater treatment plant, construction of 46.3 miles of conveyance pipeline, an additional 65 acre ft of storage, and 1,873 additional horsepower for increased pumping capacity. The portion of the project within Novato SD jurisdiction includes the MST Area Project as examined in the EIR/EIS would consist of 17.5 miles of new pipeline, 4 booster pump stations along the pipeline routes, increased pumping capacity by 880 horsepower, and a new booster pump at the WWTP. Implementation of service to the MST area would require expansion of the Napa Sanitation District WWTP tertiary treatment capacity to 4.5 mgd.
