Document Description
The County is partnering with Napa Sanitation District to deliver recycled water to the groundwater-deficient MST area and increase the use of recycled water in the North San Pablo Bay region. The District will supply recycled water to large water users for irrigation and landscaping once the County has built it. The infrastructure has been designed to enable future expansion in the event that additional property owners desire recycled water, in addition to the large water users who have already voluntarily agreed to participate. The Project consists of 17.5 miles of pipeline (including four booster pump stations along the pipeline route), and new booster pump station will be installed at the WWTP. Implementation of the Project would also require expansion of the WWTP treatment capacity by 4.5 million of gallons per day (mgd).
