Document Description
The North Bay Water Reuse Authority, of which the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District is a member, is proposing the North San Pablo Bay Restoration and Reuse Project (North Bay Water Recycling, Program) to increase regional use of recycled water in the North San Pablo Bay region. The Phase I Implementations Plan will provide 3,757 acre-feet of recycled water annually via implementation of capacity upgrades at the participating wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), construction of conveyance pipeline, additional 65 storage, and additional horsepower for increase pumping capacity. The portion of the project within Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District jurisdiction includes the Sonoma Valley Recycled Project in southern Sonoma Valley and the Napa Salt Marsh Restoration Pipeline Project in south Sonoma and Napa counties, which include construction of recycled water pipelines, storage reservoirs, pump stations and appurtenances.
