Document Description
The Project is a joint effort between the Las Galinas Valley Sanitation District (LGVSD) and the District, and involves offsetting portable water demands for landscape irrigation and other non-potable uses, reducing dependence on imported water supplies from Russian River, and reducing wastewater discharges to the San Pablo Bay. The Project will ultimately provide approximately 193 acre-feet per year of tertiary treated recycle water to landscape irrigation users. The District will construct the Project, which includes: Phase 1a - constructing 1.8 miles of transmission pipeline; Phase 1b - retrofitting the Reservoir Hill Tank and constructing 1.9 miles of distribution pipeline; and Phase 2 - constructing 1.7 miles of pipeline.
