Document Description
The North Bay Water Recycling Program includes a Phase I Implementation Plan for a regional, three county, water recycling program that would provide 3,757 acre-feet of recycled water annually via implementation of approximately 46 miles of conveyance pipeline, 6.4 mgd of tertiary treatment capacity upgrades, 1,873 horsepower for increased pumping capacity, and an additional 65 acre-feet of storage. The portion of the project within North Marin Water District jurisdiction, in partnership with Novato Sanitary District, has been modified to include the implementation of recycled water facilities at the Novato Sanitary District Davidson WWTP in lieu of the tertiary treatment process upgrade option proposed at the Deer Island Recycled Water Treatment Facility in Novato North service area, as described in the EIR/EIS. The recycled water process would provide a firm capacity of 0.85 million gallons per day (mgd) and an installed capacity of 1.7 mgd with all filter units in service. All other components are consistent with the Phase 1 Implementation Plan and include installation of approximately 5.0 miles of pipeline to serve the Valley Memorial Cemetery, and Fireman's Fund campus, among other users, as well as retrofit of Plum Street Tank for storage.
