Document Description
Marin Department of Public Works (DPW) proposes to remove excess sediment from a box culvert on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and excavate approximately 415 linear feet of stream channel along Old Bear Valley Creek as part of an on-going maintenance program by the Marin County Department of Public Works to remove accumulated sediment and silt from culverts and related drainages along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. The project site is located within and around the riparian, streambed and bank zone, and wetlands of Old Bear Valley and Silver Hills Creeks, in the town of Point Reyes. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2008-0207-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Ruth Pratt, Marin DPW.
