Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Sec. 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, the Oakdale Irrigation Dist., represented by Steve Knell, for its Cape Horn Tunnel Rehabilitation Project. The applicant proposes to construct a berm across an unnamed tributary to Rodden Reservoir to prevent any sediment that may be mobilized by the Cape Horn Tunnel Rehabilitation Project from entering Rodden Reservoir. The berm will be removed and re-installed on a yearly basis until the Cape Horn Tunnel Rehabilitation Project is completed. Construct three temporary settling (retention) basins 10-ft. by 16-ft. deep in series. Seepage or stormwater on the downstream side of the Cape Horn Tunnel will be diverted to these settling basins to allow sediment to settle prior to discharge.
