Document Description
Rehabilitate the existing Cape Horn Tunnel (approximately 7,100 feet in length) constructed by OID in 1914 as part of the North Main Canal system, including both upstream and downstream portals and air vents. Work within the tunnel includes rock bolting, grouting erosion cavities and voids behind vent shalt liners as well as constructing shotcrete liners, shotcrete portal walls and a concrete invert. Some temporary construction roads and staging areas will be rocked for access and BMPs constructed for sediment control.
