Document Description
The Lassen Union High School District (LUHSD) is proposing to remodel and retrofit the existing buildings to meet the needs of the proposed school. This remodeling will provide classrooms, and support facilities that are consistent with today's educational requirements. Athletic facilities would not be provided by the proposed project. It is anticipated that existing athletic fields at the near by high school will be used by students at the Charter School. Parking for staff and students will be provided by the existing parking lot located east of the project site. Once the modernization project is completed, there would be a net increase of 3 teaching stations and the student enrollment capacity is expected to be 150. Students will be scheduled to attend events and appointments throughout the week at the charter school. There will not be 150 students on site at anyone given time.
