Document Description
The proposed project is the consolidation of Quail Valley Water District's Eastside and Westside Water Systems by installing approximately 6,000 linear feet of pipe in the existing road right of way to convey potable water. The Eastside Water System will be taken out of service, as recent water quality analysis show that it exceeds the State and Federal drinking water standards for arsenic of 10 ppb. The consolidation will result in the community's drinking water being below the Arsenic MCL of 10 ppb. New transmission lines will be installed to connect the Eastside System's above ground storage tanks to the Westside System to maintain fire protection and emergency water supply.
