PWD plans to implement projects identified in its 2001 Water System Master Plan and evaluated in the 2001 Master Plan EIR. Of 10 wells identified in the EIR, three are now proposed for implementation. The project comprises the construction and operation in the City of Palmdale of the three wells, one of which is a replacement well, and pipelines in access roads connecting the wells to the existing PWD distribution system in streets.
