The applicant, Pyramid Construction, is proposing to mine approximately 500,000 tons of construction aggregate over a ten year period. The applicant is proposing a Reclamation Plan #08-0001 for review and currently has a Plan of Operations being reviewed by the Burea of Land Management for the mining of this aggregate material (sand and gravel). The applicant is also proposing a Conditional Use Permit #08-0001 for a water well that will provide water for dust suppression and mining operations as part of the project, but located on a separate parcel. Reclamation will be conducted concurrently with mining operations.
