Document Description
The proposed project is a General Plan Amendment, Rezone, and Conditional Use Permit for a 360-unit senior congregate care facility and buildings up to four stories and a maximum 55 feet in height on a 26.69-acre site located east of the Prospect Avenue and Graves Avenue intersection. The congregate care facility would provide a range of housing options and services for elderly persons, including independent living, assisted living, and dementia care. The anticipated age range of future residents would be from approximately 75 years to approximately 95 years. Most residents of congregate care facilities no longer drive and need some assistance with the activities of daily living. The facility is designed to be self-contained and would provide on-site security, non-medical care providers, meal service, and transportation services. The applicant anticipates that the project would be managed by Integral Senior Living (ISL), a company that specializes in management of senior congregate care facilities.
