Document Description
The proposed project consists of the ultimate width street improvements of approximately 7,970 linear feet along Kitching Street to four lanes from Gentian Avenue to Alessandro Boulevard, related storm drain facilities, widening of bridges at Alessandro Boulevard and John F. Kennedy Drive, upgrade of two existing traffic signals at John F. Kennedy Drive and Alessandro Boulevard and a new traffic signal at Cactus Avenue. Kitching Street has been designated as a four lane minor arterial roadway having a width of 64 foot curb to curb and 88 foot right-of-way (per City Standard 105A).
The proposed project would construct street improvements including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, pavement, street lights, drainage facilities, traffic signals, etc. within the existing and acquired right-of-way along Kitching Street from Gentian Avenue to Alessandro Boulevard. The utility poles would be relocated and/or modified as necessary to accommodate the grading required for the roadway.
