Due to budgetary constraints, the Capistrano Unified School District ("CUSD" or "District") is proposing to implement the Equity Busing Plan adopted by the CUSD School Board on May 12, 2008. The Equity Busing Plan would reduce the existing number of school bus routes provided for the CUSD to 18 routes from 62 bus routes and retain busing at Viejo Elementary School, Newhart Middle School, and Capistrano Valley High School.
