Document Description
LAUSD is proposing to construct and operate an elementary school, known as the South Region Elementary School No. 9, in LAUSD Local District 6 int he City of South Gate. The proposed project would provide an elementary school (grades k-5) with 650 seats on a traditional single-track, 2 semester calendar. The proposed facilities would involve ~52,446 sf of development that includes 26 classrooms, areas for administrations offices, multipurpose room, and a library. Approximately 59 parking spaces would be provided for faculty and staff in a surface parking lot. Access to the parking lot would be provided from Firestone Blvd, at the north side of the Proposed Project.
