Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Sec. 15301
Reasons for Exemption
This project is deemed to be Categorically Exempt as existing facilities because both buildings are existing structures and the re-painting would not expand the existing uses. The conversion of the existing Reservation Office to a recreation building was analyzed in the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Snowcreek VII project (SCH #: 2006022011). The existing Wildasinn cabin is a historic resource that has been recorded in detail by Trans-Sierran Archaeological Research (December 2006). It has been determined that the re-painting of the Wildasinn cabin will not have an adverse effect on the cabin's historic values.
