Document Description
The project involves the installation of a fuel break approximately 4-6' wide and approximately 7 miles long. This fuel break will be constructed by the use of hand tools to remove annual grass cover. This fuel break is needed to reduce the incidence of catastrophic wildfires initiated along this maor highway. The construction of this fuel break has been an annual event and in the same location since the 1950's and will continue annyally in the future.
