Document Description
The project will restore approximately 4.6 acres of the site with self-sustaining native habitat. This will be achieved through temporary irrigation and planting of native trees. Current land use, agriculture/open space/gravel mine (reclaimed) will not be changed. Improvements will be consistent with existing land use. An existing well will provide water for irrigation.

Class 33 consists of projects not to exceed five acres in size to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of habitat for fish, plants, or wildlife. This project will have no impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects. The project will be implemented in accordance with the San Joaquin River Parkway Master Plan and programmatic EIR (1997).
