Document Description
The project will prepare design plans and an environmental review document pursuant to CEQA for the lower Carmel River Floodplain Restoration Project. The purpose of the project is to reconnect the river to its floodplain to enhance riparian and aquatic habitat, reduce flooding on the north side of the river, and create an agricultural preserve.
